Dr. Klimek is a former special education teacher and administrator, with 21 years of experience working in a large school system in New York. She has also worked for as an early interventionist for the past 15 years, and has counseled countless families to pursue the best education possible for their children with special needs. She is a non-profit founder and president (The Bocha Project), and a prolific blogger at Our Special Village.
She is interested in all-things-special as she grew up with a brother with disabilities and has experienced first-hand all the difficulties, challenges, and all the successful moments that all families go through in this situation. Making this world a more inclusive and accessible place is her lifelong commitment.
